Then in 2021, I had my first baby
And suddenly, those 12-hour workdays weren’t an option anymore.
I had to get really strategic, really fast. I learned to batch content, streamline my processes, and cut out everything that didn’t actually matter. (Spoiler: a lot of stuff didn’t matter.)
In 2024, baby number two arrived. And I made a call: I was going to close KIK and focus on the part of business I genuinely loved— helping other people bring their brands to life through photography and content strategy.
Because here’s the thing, I loved the photography. I loved the strategy. I loved problem-solving someone’s messy content situation and helping businesses succeed. That was the good stuff that I loved and still do.
